Q. Who can apply?

A. Miss Amity USA pageant focus is diversity. We want to give young women the same opportunities and winning chances, regardless of their background or origin. There are two divisions of competition: Miss and Ms.

Requirements for Miss:

  • You must be a natural born female.
  • Must be single (never married, never given birth to a child and not a parent).
  • Must be at least 18 years old and not older than 28 the year you compete.
  • Must be a United States citizen or a legal resident.
  • Be of good health.

Requirements for Ms:

  • You must be a natural born female.
  • Can be single, married, divorced, widowed, with or without children.
  • Must be at least 18 years and not older than 45 the year you compete.

You don’t need to have any pageant experience, and it doesn’t matter if you attended other pageants before. Applicants from all states are welcome! Your ethnic or cultural background doesn’t matter. We are open to women of any race and ethnicity, white, black (African/African American), Hispanic/Latino, non-Hispanic whites, Asian, native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, Native American, mixed race or any other race. We are open to all young girls who aspire to go beyond their dreams and change their lives.

Q. What do I need to get started?

A. To be considered, fill out the application form and pay the non-refundable processing fee of $20 via PayPal (Click here to pay). Someone will contact you within 5 business days to conduct an interview to determine your eligibility. Q. Will a hair and make-up artist be provided or do I need to bring my own?

A. Hair and make-up artists will be provided at no additional cost. Delegates also have the option to do their hair and make-up by themselves.

Q. As a delegate, do I need to find a sponsor?

A. To keep the pageant running at the same time provide delegates with incredible opportunities and prize package, we rely on the generosity of sponsors. To participate in this contest, we ask for an entry fee to cover production cost and prizes. Most times the fee can be recovered with the help of friends and family while other contestants source for sponsorship from local businesses. If you explain to potential sponsors your desire to improve yourself through the Miss Amity USA pageant, your goal, the charity you are passionate about, and the opportunity to win thousands of dollars in prizes that will help you advance in your career, you are most likely to get their support. To show appreciation, inform the sponsors we will feature them in our souvenir program.

Q. How much is the entry fee?

A. If chosen, you will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to complete your application and become a delegate. An entry fee of $430 will be required to participate in our pageant. We will send you the materials needed in order to seek sponsorship from a local business, friends, or family. To make the process even easier for you, we offer a payment plan. The entry fee covers the production cost and the following amazing prizes:

Q. What is expected during the competition week?

A. All delegates are required to be available two days before the finale event to participate in runway training, choreography, press conference, social activities, and much more.

Q. Do you provide changing /dressing rooms at the pageant venue?

A. Yes, we do.

Q. Can a delegate compete more than once?

A. Delegates are welcome to compete more than once if they have never won the Miss or Ms. Amity USA competition.

Q. Can delegates be married or have children?

A. Only the Ms. delegates can be married or have children.

Q. Will there be open calls?

A. We will have 2 open calls throughout the year in the Houston area. You are welcome to attend any open call that works best for your schedule. You do not have to attend all the open calls as each one is exactly the same. Applicants from all over are welcome to attend one of our open calls. If you are not able to attend any, we will schedule a phone interview for you.

Q. Do I have to wait for an open call to apply?

A. No, you do not have to wait for an open call to apply as spaces are limited. We will assign delegates their chosen city or state to represent on a first come, first serve basis.

Q. What if I cannot attend an open call, can I still participate in this pageant?

A. Yes, you can still participate in this pageant if you cannot attend an open call. Once you apply, for your convenience, we will schedule a phone interview to determine your eligibility.

Q. Will my duties as a queen interfere with my studies?

A. We are committed to the success of our titleholders academic studies, we will do our best to ensure that your duties as a queen do not interfere with your studies. That’s why we will schedule community services over weekends and school holidays.
